Zendegi Kardan
2025, performance, video installationBefore the 15th century, Persian culture had no concept of the “painting” as a self-contained visual artwork. Instead, traditional Persian miniatures were conceived as ‘visual extensions of text’ — spaces for meditative looking and thought journeys, where the viewer entered the scene imaginatively, letting go of their own “I.” This installation reimagines the miniature through moving images in multi-channel composition.
