ΚΟΙΝΟΣ ΚΟΣΜΟΣ Shared Universe
film essay, work-in-progressThe Shared Universe dissolves rigid boundaries between fiction and reality, creating a fluid space where history, mythology, and speculative thought converge. More than a setting, it is a framework that integrates game mechanics, ancient Greek tragedy, utopian ideals, and the evolving complexities of contemporary society.
At its core is the tension between borders — physical and conceptual. Rather than barriers, they act as permeable membranes, shaped by historical reinterpretations, memory, and shifting cultural narratives. Here, the imagined real is not a distortion but an inevitable extension of reality, where fiction and truth merge to challenge limitations.
Like Greek tragedy, this universe embraces the struggle between fate and free will, questioning structures that dictate existence. Utopian ideals, once fixed visions of a perfect future, now fragment under societal pressure, becoming prototypes that morph with time.
Ultimately, this space redefines conventional binaries—fact versus fiction, past versus future, individual versus collective — turning borders into thresholds for reinterpretation, reinvention, and possibility.
